These days most fields include overalls in their packages, so why don’t we? We’ve taken the cost of the overall hire out of the package price and made them an optional extra. When we first took over the business we realised most people were choosing not to wear the overalls even though they were included in the price. The reason? Because it gets hot and humid in South East Queensland!
If you do decide that you want to hire the overalls we really recommend you wear minimal clothing underneath, especially in the warmer months. To many layers can cause the paintballs to bounce which actually hurts more than if they break, there is also an increased chance of fogging issues due to increased body heat and the only way for that heat to vent is through the mask and last but most importantly to many layers on a hot day can cause heat stress!
Underneath the overalls we recommend shorts or leggings and either a tank top or crop top. As an alternative to wearing the overalls we recommend old loose fitting clothing, (FYI denim jeans are not a good idea) Trust us, the ‘paint’ will wash out, otherwise we’d be throwing out our overalls on a regular basis!
